A girl and her cat take on the world with nothing more than a cup of tea and a good book and enough dreams to fill the universe.

Learning Wishlist

I have been doing quite a bit of thinking lately about what I want to learn about. What are the things that make me excited and passionate? I have come up with a list.

1. Maker Movement

2. Black Holes and Space Travel

3. Project-Based Learning

4. Workshop Method

5. How Do Scientists and Science Teachers Feel About All of This Policy and Standards Stuff (It’s not something I’ve ever heard them talk about.)

6. Techniques to Stand Your Ground and Deal With Angry/Scary Parents

7. English Classroom Field Trips

8. How to Be a Catalyst For Change

9. Bone Breaks in Exploded Animals

10. Cats

Now please excuse me while I go get my nerd on and start learning!

Hahaha that’s fabulous. I really enjoyed reading this blog. Want to know the best way to learn more about cats? You need to get a cat, or two. They are great!

I loved the links you provided! I’m interested to learn how to incorporate Project-Based Learning in English Education classrooms. Happy learning.

I like how you brought up standing your ground with parents. Dealing with parents is a scary thought. All I know is I need to know what I believe in and know exactly how to defend that to parents. Which, let’s face it, I don’t know what I believe yet because I am not teaching yet. So, I would agree with you on that point.
